Responsibilities
- Develop AI-based tools and agents to optimize RTL design, design verification, and front-end flow execution.
- Automate analysis, checks, and other RTL-to-GDS workflow tasks.
- Build and maintain agentic workflows using open-source AI frameworks.
- Create and improve scripting that integrates design tools with existing engineering workflows.
- Write, review, and maintain readable, testable, and maintainable Python code.
- Adopt new AI packages and evolving engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Python scripting and automation.
- Basic understanding of VLSI RTL-to-GDS flows and front-end stages including RTL, design checks, synthesis, STA, CDC, formal, and DV.
- Practical familiarity with agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, or LangGraph.
- Ability to work independently, iterate quickly, and learn new tools and packages rapidly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or a related field plus 6+ years of Hardware Engineering or related experience; alternatively, a master’s degree plus 5+ years or a PhD plus 4+ years.
- Preferred experience applying LLM-driven techniques to production-quality SystemVerilog codebases.
- Preferred exposure to multi-agent systems, including supervisor/worker patterns, tool calling, memory/context, and RAG.
- Preferred experience integrating automation with engineering infrastructure and reference flows.
