Base Salary
$160k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions for product catalog and pricing systems.
- Implement system and data monitoring to ensure business-process correctness.
- Lead cross-functional projects and participate in planning in an agile environment.
- Scope, decompose, organize, delegate, and coordinate projects for multiple teammates through completion.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance on development, design, testing, and quality practices.
- Contribute to team-wide business and technology objectives beyond assigned goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience in a senior engineering role with increasing responsibility.
- Proficiency with SQL, Postgres, and Java.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and data-intensive applications processing high-volume or high-velocity transactions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to mentor a team and lead independently.
- Preferred: six years of engineering experience building scalable, publicly facing websites, preferably in startup or early-stage environments.
- Preferred: full-stack experience and experience serving as a tech lead for a small team.
- Preferred: experience with Terraform, Helm, GitHub Actions, SQL data analysis using Snowflake or BigQuery, data pipelines, high-throughput systems, asynchronous message processing, microservices, distributed systems, and production public-cloud environments, with Azure preferred.

- Remote base salary range is $160,000–$225,000, with eligibility for a discretionary annual cash bonus and equity incentive plan.
