Base Salary
$160k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions.
- Implement system and data monitors to ensure business-process correctness.
- Contribute to team-wide business and technical objectives.
- Lead cross-functional projects and participate in planning in an agile environment.
- Scope, decompose, organize, delegate, and coordinate projects for multiple teammates through completion.
- Generate project time estimates and support standard development, design-pattern, testing, and quality practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to an empowered engineering team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience.
- Proven experience in a Senior or Principal engineering role with increasing responsibility.
- Proficiency with SQL, Postgres, and Go (Golang).
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms for data-intensive, high-velocity, or high-volume applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to mentor a team and lead without direction.
- Preferred experience acting as a Tech Lead for a small team.
- Preferred experience with Terraform, Helm, GitHub Actions, inventory, supply chain, warehousing, logistics, SQL data analysis, Snowflake, BigQuery, data pipelines, Temporal, distributed transaction frameworks, message-based asynchronous processing, JavaScript, SPA technology, Vue, React, and Azure.
