Responsibilities
- Improve the architecture of the Open Telekom Cloud platform while maintaining strong IT security.
- Design and develop cloud platform and software-as-a-service features.
- Advise customers and stakeholders on OpenStack-based public cloud technology.
- Perform hands-on work through cloud platform consoles to support architectural decisions.
- Automate infrastructure using common automation frameworks.
- Assess technical solutions and develop creative approaches in collaboration with a team of specialists.
- Mentor colleagues and present technical concepts.
Requirements
- Completed studies in a technical, engineering, or scientific subject, or comparable professional training.
- At least 11 years of professional IT experience focused on modern cloud technologies.
- Very good knowledge of software, cloud, and container architectures.
- Experience with infrastructure automation.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux, system tools, and network-related services.
- Strong customer orientation, mentoring and presentation skills, and the ability to assess technical solutions.
- Knowledge of agile development processes.
- OpenStack and programming experience in open-source projects are advantageous.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
