Responsibilities
- Own and deliver Java/Kotlin components within the Core Prime Brokerage platform.
- Develop software enhancements that improve reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Implement and maintain developer-led automated testing solutions using test-driven development practices.
- Participate in design, planning, estimation, task analysis, code reviews, and pull requests.
- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, operations, and business teams to clarify requirements and support production systems.
- Participate in support rotations, diagnose escalated issues, document solutions, and contribute to post-mortem reviews.
- Create and maintain project and technical documentation.
- Identify and communicate risks or issues within assigned work.
- Coach and mentor junior analysts and graduates.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an application development role.
- Essential experience with Java and test-driven development.
- Demonstrated execution capabilities.
- Bachelor’s/university degree or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Additional experience with Kotlin, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Kafka, Solace, TIBCO, SQL Server, S3, OpenTelemetry, Elastic Stack/ELK, or Grafana is advantageous.
