Responsibilities
- Manage the software verification process through reviews, integration, and testing.
- Create test specifications, maintain requirements traceability, set up test environments, execute tests, and automate testing activities.
- Perform software and software/hardware integration and analyze test results.
- Report findings to design teams and create test reports.
- Set up, update, and maintain test laboratories for different hardware and software configurations.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on requirements, architecture, design, and potential problems.
- Learn and apply new tools, techniques, and processes in a continuous-improvement environment.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in software testing and verification.
- Programming experience with scripting languages, Python, Visual Basic, and C/C++.
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with software development tools including .NET, VB6, Visual C++, Eclipse, Git, Gerrit, DOORS, and Jenkins.
- Knowledge of agile software development.
- Rail transportation industry experience is preferred.
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
