Responsibilities
- Develop front-end and back-end functionality for a strategic LSEG web application.
- Enhance underlying platform components and development tools in a cloud-native environment.
- Develop and maintain serverless and microservice architectures.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage technology risk, data governance, and security for public-facing web applications.
- Diagnose system outages, resolve issues, and perform root cause analysis.
- Take ownership of large, high-impact projects and lead by example.
- Guide and develop junior colleagues while collaborating with distributed teams.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in front-end or server-side JavaScript web development.
- Proficiency in full-stack modern web development using TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, HTML, and CSS.
- Expertise in cloud computing, preferably with AWS services.
- Experience with serverless and microservice architectures.
- Ability to develop and manage CI/CD pipelines, with GitLab, Bitbucket, or Jenkins preferred.
- Understanding of source control, branching, merging, and software deployment practices.
- Experience managing technology risk, data governance, and security for public-facing web applications.
- Ability to diagnose system outages, resolve problems, and conduct root cause analysis.
- Business-level written and verbal English proficiency.
- Ability to take ownership, work autonomously, lead by example, solve problems creatively, and collaborate inclusively.
