Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and implementation for enterprise deployments using Deepgram speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and voice-agent capabilities
- Own post-sales technical success, unblock integrations, optimize accuracy and latency, and guide customers to stable production
- Serve as the Tier-3 escalation point by driving root-cause analysis, mitigations, durable fixes, and automation
- Design reference architectures and implementation patterns for contact centers, voice analytics, quality assurance, and AI-agent use cases
- Build reusable samples, internal tools, scripts, deployment guides, troubleshooting playbooks, and other customer-facing assets
- Contribute to pre-sales discovery and proofs of concept when deep technical direction is required
- Partner with Product and Engineering to prioritize fixes and features and provide customer feedback for the roadmap
- Capture runbooks, playbooks, and documentation that scale expertise across regions and languages
- Participate in an APAC on-call or incident rotation and help meet or exceed regional service-level agreements
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Solutions Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role
- Professional software engineering experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or another comparable language, with the ability to build production-grade proofs of concept and tools
- Hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, containerization, orchestration, and secure network design for API-driven systems
- Proven ownership of complex post-sales work, including production deployments, migrations, performance tuning, and incident response
- Clear written and verbal communication with technical and executive audiences
- Based in an APAC time zone with reliable customer-business-hour overlap and able to travel within the region approximately 10 to 20 percent
- Strong written and spoken English; Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, or Hindi is a strong plus
- Preferred experience with speech recognition, text-to-speech, voice agents, LLM orchestration, WER analysis, model selection and tuning, Helm-based deployments, production observability, authentication, authorization, data residency, and APAC compliance reviews
