Base Salary
$138k - $181k/yr
Responsibilities
- Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospective and existing customers.
- Demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, from demonstrations through proofs of concept, design, and implementation.
- Work with sales teams and channel partners to understand customer needs, strategize winning sales cycles, and close business.
- Maintain knowledge of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors and position Snowflake accordingly.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake products and marketing.
- Protect customer information and comply with Snowflake confidentiality and security standards.
Requirements
- 7-8 years of industry experience, including at least 5 years in a pre-sales environment.
- Strong presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, including impromptu whiteboarding, presentations, and demonstrations.
- Broad experience with large-scale database and data warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies, including data lakes, data meshes, and data fabrics.
- Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.
- Ability to connect customer business problems with Snowflake solutions and analyze customer architecture frameworks against Snowflake Data Architecture.
- A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
- A master’s degree in data science or business administration is a plus.
- Experience working with global system integrators such as EY, Deloitte, or Accenture is beneficial but not required.
- Must be based in Atlanta, Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina, or South Carolina.
