Responsibilities
- Serve as a customer-facing technical subject matter expert for Turnitin’s Integrity and Assessment products.
- Lead or support customer meetings, product overviews, demonstrations, workflow discussions, and business-case presentations.
- Resolve technical product inquiries and advise on technical, integration, and product-related RFP/RFI questions.
- Build business cases and value-focused presentations aligned with customer pain points to support deal closure.
- Manage client trials, pilots, and proof-of-concept evaluations with clear criteria and successful outcomes.
- Conduct technical discovery with customer stakeholders, gather requirements and constraints, and document future-state workflows.
- Provide customer, market, competitive, and feature-request feedback to Product, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders.
- Mentor teammates, share best practices across global go-to-market teams, and help scale the Solutions Engineering organization.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, technical pre-sales, or technical consulting in EdTech or Enterprise SaaS.
- Strong consultative selling, presentation, and communication skills for executive, academic, and technical audiences.
- Proven experience managing technical evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and RFP responses in complex sales cycles.
- Expertise understanding customer workflows, complex integrations, requirements gathering, and customer change management.
- High intellectual curiosity and ability to work through complex problems with a flexible, humble, customer-focused approach.
- Experience with LMS workflows, LTI standards, and REST APIs is preferred.
- Ability to regularly flex working hours across global time zones.
