Base Salary
$195k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve distributed, big-data pipelines for network analysis and data ingestion.
- Drive the scalability of Altana's technology to meet customer requirements.
- Serve as a technical expert in client-facing meetings.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product managers.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and best practices for data pipeline development.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Extensive experience in designing and maintaining complex data models.
- Proven track record of leading the full lifecycle of data ingestion pipelines.
- Strong focus on sustainable software development and data governance.
- Experience mentoring engineers on complex data projects.
- Fluency in Spanish for engagement with Mexican government clients.
- Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites in Mexico and LATAM.
- Based in Washington DC or NYC area.
