Responsibilities
- Develop and manage enterprise web applications using .NET Core and Angular.
- Build secure, robust, transactional applications using object-oriented design and service-oriented architectures.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization with Microsoft technologies.
- Participate in design sessions and collaborate with architects, designers, functional analysts, and business analysts.
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, test, and document selected application functions.
- Contribute to application evolution by identifying needs, gaps, and new requirements.
- Review functional specifications, including functional test descriptions and acceptance criteria.
- Assist with hiring, collaborate with the Development Manager, and help achieve delivery timelines.
- Recommend improvements to operating efficiency and system functionality.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software development experience in the Microsoft stack.
- At least 4 years of web application development experience using Angular.
- At least 4 years of experience working with SQL databases.
- Experience with .NET 6.0 or later, RESTful services, WebAPI, and SQL Server.
- Strong programming skills in C#, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience with service-oriented architecture, domain-driven development, application security, infrastructure blueprints, and DevOps.
- Ability to build new application features that interoperate with existing applications and infrastructure.
- Preferred experience with documentation, process improvement, design patterns, WinForms modernization, automated tools, AI, and Azure application deployment.
- Experience in a science-related company is required.
