Base Salary
$156k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement production-grade distributed systems using real-time telemetry and AI-driven anomaly detection.
- Define scaling strategies and architectural patterns for agentic AI systems powered by foundation models.
- Build end-to-end data and decisioning pipelines that process telemetry, logs, and user signals into detection, root cause analysis, and actionable insights.
- Create and deploy scalable APIs and services providing predictive signals, explainability, and operational insights.
- Embed AI-driven intelligence into incident response, release validation, and subscriber-experience workflows.
- Advance observability, reliability, and developer productivity through applied AI.
- Drive engineering standards, clean and tested code, code reviews, CI/CD practices, production ownership, and mentorship.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of applicable backend development experience, including AI-powered or data-driven applications and scalable APIs.
- Proficiency with Spark, PySpark, Python, or a similar programming language.
- Experience implementing production-grade systems at scale in distributed environments.
- Strong AI/ML engineering experience orchestrating foundation models such as Claude, OpenAI, or Qwen with LangChain or LangGraph.
- Familiarity with developing, training, or fine-tuning models using PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor and Claude Code.
- Experience with GitHub, Docker, and cloud-native deployments using AWS/EKS.
- Strong understanding of API design, microservices architecture, and standard SDLC workflows.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, collaboration, communication, and technical explanation skills.
- Preferred experience with Datadog, Grafana, Conviva, high-volume telemetry, PySpark, Pandas, Databricks, Snowflake, prompt design, model evaluation, and foundation-model fine-tuning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
