Base Salary
$125k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Debug and resolve application-level issues in collaboration with hardware and software teams.
- Adapt and optimize robotic systems for client applications involving path planning, perception, and object manipulation.
- Create task-specific workflows, configurations, and behaviors for robotic systems.
- Develop user-friendly interfaces and tools for end-users.
- Conduct onsite testing to validate robotic application performance and reliability.
- Iterate on applications to meet evolving client needs and improve performance.
- Provide technical support and hands-on training to clients and operators.
- Collaborate with clients to understand challenges and deliver tailored robotic solutions.
- Document application workflows and create detailed user guides.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in robotics application development or integration.
- Strong programming skills in Python and C++, including task-level software development.
- Experience working with clients to implement and refine robotic solutions.
- Proficiency with ROS 2 and simulation tools such as Gazebo or RViz.
- Hands-on experience with robotic arms, grippers, and vision systems.
- Strong understanding of motion planning, perception systems, and kinematics.
- Ability to troubleshoot application-level issues in laboratory and field settings.
- Experience dockerizing applications and deploying containerized solutions.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, approximately 25%.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally for up to three months during onboarding.
