Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies covering functionality, performance, user experience, and quality standards.
- Create and run automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools to detect defects early.
- Develop and maintain full-stack software and supporting infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate on requirements, design discussions, acceptance criteria, code reviews, defect analysis, and resolution.
- Apply secure coding, unit testing, risk management, and control practices.
- Lead or guide complex assignments, advise stakeholders, and contribute to technical communities and process improvement.
Requirements
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, JUnit, REST-based services, microservices, and test-driven development.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL database technologies, including Oracle or MongoDB.
- Experience with DevSecOps technologies including OpenShift, Kubernetes, GitLab, Jira, SonarQube, Prisma, and Wiz.
- Experience with Maven or Gradle and messaging systems such as Apache Kafka or IBM MQ.
- Experience with rapid application development using AI models such as Claude and GitLab Duo.
- Computer Science degree or equivalent understanding of Computer Science, object-oriented design, and data structures.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, effective unit testing, software quality, and reliability practices.
- Ability to perform complex analysis, communicate complex information, influence stakeholders, and manage risk and controls.
