Responsibilities

  • Lead technical presentations covering applications, data, infrastructure, architecture, and application systems design.
  • Define, design, and deliver technical architectures, patterns, quality standards, risk assessments, and operability solutions.
  • Lead and mentor the operations team while remaining hands-on and setting an example.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, own problems, and drive them through resolution.
  • Support a team culture focused on knowledge sharing, excellence, and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Proven experience developing, installing, and supporting system tools for EDA workloads.
  • Demonstrable experience supporting EDA license infrastructure.
  • Skill with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, and Shell script.
  • Proficiency with Git, SVN, and CVS revision control.
  • Experience crafting and supporting cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of HPC resource managers including LSF and Slurm.
  • A strong balance of hardware, architecture, and software expertise.
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field is strongly preferred.
