Base Salary
$150k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve ambiguous technical problems for customers and partners.
- Own technical deployment requests from triage through completion while coordinating across research and go-to-market teams.
- Build tools and one-off pipelines to address urgent customer and partner problems.
- Debug code, data, and environments during urgent production, customer, or deployment issues.
- Document recurring issues and turn repeated manual work into reusable tools and processes.
- Work directly with technical customers, vendors, and cross-functional internal teams.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of experience in applied research engineering, forward-deployed engineering, or a comparable hands-on technical role.
- Strong generalist AI engineering skills and the ability to work quickly and independently.
- Proficiency in Python, Docker, and Linux environments.
- Experience with benchmarks and evaluations, including judgment about realistic tasks, reliable rubrics, and useful trajectories for RL training.
- Experience handling urgent production, customer, or deployment issues.
- Ability to operate independently in ambiguous situations without a fully prescribed roadmap.
- Early-stage startup experience and comfort working in fast-paced environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration across time zones.
