Responsibilities
- Embed with client engineering teams to design, build, test, and deliver production-ready implementations of Thought Machine Vault products.
- Own the technical success of assigned client engagements and act as the primary technical point of contact.
- Translate business requirements into technical delivery plans and deliver projects from design through production.
- Write production-quality Python or Go code for integrations, tooling, data pipelines, core product contributions, and extensions.
- Debug and resolve complex issues across distributed systems, databases, messaging systems, container orchestration, and cloud infrastructure.
- Design scalable solutions addressing high availability, disaster recovery, capacity planning, security, and operability.
- Contribute to reusable internal tooling, frameworks, patterns, product improvements, documentation, and shared tooling.
- Support presales through technical consultation, proof-of-concept implementations, and feasibility demonstrations.
- Provide implementation guidance to clients and communicate client feedback, pain points, and feature requests internally.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Python or Go and the ability to iterate on client ideas amid ambiguous requirements.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL or equivalent databases, and Kafka or equivalent messaging systems.
- Practical production deployment and operations experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with external clients or partners in a technical delivery capacity.
- Experience delivering technical projects end-to-end, including design, production rollout, edge cases, rollback plans, and operability.
- Ability to explain complex systems to engineers and non-technical stakeholders and own delivery outcomes.
- Banking or financial services experience, including retail banking, payments, ledgers, or regulatory environments, is desirable.
- Cloud architecture certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent are desirable.
