Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and services using Python and FastAPI.
- Build secure, structured, high-performance RESTful APIs for web applications and platform integrations.
- Design and optimize data models, queries, and access layers across relational and NoSQL databases.
- Contribute to application architecture, backend modernization, service reliability, logging, monitoring, observability, and error handling.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers and product teams to define service contracts and deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and uphold quality, security, and maintainability standards.
- Support deployment pipelines, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and continuous engineering improvement.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on backend engineering.
- Very strong expertise in Python and backend application development.
- Strong hands-on experience building APIs and backend services with FastAPI.
- Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including data modeling and query optimization.
- Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs and distributed services.
- Strong understanding of testing, debugging, performance tuning, and production support for backend systems.
- Experience with source control, CI/CD practices, and modern development workflows.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across product, QA, and engineering functions.
- Preferred knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and modern frontend development concepts.
- Preferred experience with cloud platforms, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, event-driven systems, asynchronous processing, distributed architectures, observability, performance monitoring, enterprise business platforms, and complex data workflows.
- Mandatory full-stack Microsoft .NET Smart Web App skills with 5–8 years of experience.
