Responsibilities
- Develop and configure ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM applications, including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Discovery, Event Management, and CMDB modules.
- Implement and optimize workflows, business rules, UI policies, and automation for ITSM and ITOM processes.
- Design and maintain integrations with external systems using APIs and ServiceNow IntegrationHub.
- Manage the CMDB, including data integrity, CSDM alignment, Discovery, Service Mapping, and configuration items.
- Troubleshoot complex ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM issues and collaborate with IT teams, stakeholders, and end users to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with security standards, best practices, and governance requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience focused on ITSM and ITOM modules.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, ServiceNow Glide scripting, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong understanding of ITSM concepts, the ITIL framework, and ITOM practices.
- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Event Management, CMDB lifecycle management, and API integrations.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Flow Designer, Studio IDE, and Update Sets.
- ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, ITSM, or ITOM Implementation Specialist are preferred.
- Preferred qualifications include cloud-native infrastructure and cloud discovery experience, ServiceNow Agent Client Collector and advanced CMDB knowledge, and experience with Scrum or Kanban.
