Responsibilities
- Own the architecture of the integration layer by designing solutions and authoring RFCs for internal and third-party service integrations.
- Write, deliver, and review high-quality production backend code.
- Establish documentation, testing practices, and CI/CD improvements to reduce technical debt and increase squad autonomy.
- Mentor engineers through pairing, technical guidance, and active development of their skills.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical roadmaps and scalable solutions.
Requirements
- Strong backend development skills with Go, or substantial experience in functional backend languages and a willingness to learn Go quickly.
- Expertise in code design, automated testing, CI/CD, performance optimization, and resilient system architecture.
- Experience leading technical projects end to end, from design documentation through production delivery.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services and strong SQL optimization skills with relational databases.
- Advanced English proficiency for discussing and presenting technical topics to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience contributing to technical strategy beyond the immediate squad.
