Responsibilities
- Architect internal supervisor loops, router patterns, and state machines using the Claude Agent SDK, AWS Bedrock, and LangGraph.
- Operate agentic workloads at scale by defining success, latency, and token-efficiency objectives and handling observability, prompt versioning, and incidents.
- Improve developer experience by addressing SDLC bottlenecks, optimizing build and CI performance, refining local development setups, and tuning AWS serverless architectures.
- Define reusable components, RAG architecture, and guardrails for safe autonomous systems.
- Drive adoption of internal AI development tools and technical standards across teams through pairing, mentorship, and technical credibility.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with significant technical-lead experience in Platform, Infrastructure, or DevEx.
- Production experience operating non-deterministic LLM or agentic workloads, including cost governance, tracing, and evaluation pipelines.
- Deep proficiency in C# or Python and strong AWS cloud-native expertise, including Lambda, API Gateway, Bedrock, IAM, and KMS.
- Demonstrated ability to drive tool adoption and technical standards across multiple teams through communication, pairing, and mentorship.
- Must be eligible to work in New Zealand.
