Responsibilities

Prepare test cases based on business and functional requirements.
Conduct manual and automated functional and non-functional testing.
Develop, execute, debug, and maintain automated test suites using appropriate automation tools and frameworks.
Write and execute unit, integration, end-to-end, migration, API, and API-contract tests.
Automate feature-level and user-journey/end-to-end regression testing.
Identify, document, prioritize, and track bugs and issues using JIRA.
Communicate testing status, risks, progress, patterns, and quality levels to technical and business stakeholders.
Act as the testing point of contact and quality advocate for the Scrum team.
Contribute to Agile planning, estimations, timelines, daily scrums, and project status meetings.
Apply and promote TDD, BDD, CI, CD, SOLID principles, and testing best practices.
Work with Delivery and Agile Leads to plan QA activities within project timelines.
Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement.

Good understanding of the Agile software development lifecycle, test automation tools, and testing frameworks.
Experience working in fast-paced Agile teams with CI/CD and JavaScript/TypeScript test automation environments.
Experience with Vitest, Playwright, and SerenityJS.
Extensive experience automating, debugging, and maintaining API tests and frameworks.
Ability to develop automation frameworks using SOLID principles.
Strong troubleshooting, collaboration, written English, spoken English, and interpersonal communication skills.
Expertise in identifying and documenting defects using JIRA.
Experience with Git, JIRA, and Confluence in Agile environments.
Cross-platform and cross-browser testing experience using BrowserStack is desirable.
Experience with non-functional testing, including security and performance testing, is desirable.
Experience embedding database tests in API testing is desirable.
