Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software features and service components using established standards and architectural patterns.
- Participate in code and design reviews and incorporate feedback to improve technical quality.
- Use GitHub Copilot, AWS CodeWhisperer, Cursor AI, and Claude for AI-assisted code generation, review, documentation, and routine engineering tasks.
- Collaborate with product, QA, architecture, and other cross-functional teams to deliver features accurately.
- Write technical documentation, unit tests, and handover notes.
- Contribute to sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Use Claude and ChatGPT for technical documentation drafting and learning new frameworks.
Requirements
- 0–3 years of experience in software development or a closely related software engineering role.
- Foundational knowledge of Java, Python, Go, TypeScript, REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native development on AWS.
- Understanding of software engineering principles, version control, and Agile practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to code quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred: experience with GitHub Copilot, AWS CodeWhisperer, Cursor AI, and Claude for AI-assisted development, code completion, documentation, and quality improvement.
- Preferred: familiarity with AWS cloud services and cloud-native development patterns.
- Preferred: experience using Claude or ChatGPT for technical documentation and learning new technologies.
- Preferred: interest in airline technology and software platforms supporting global airline operations.
