Responsibilities
- Own and evolve AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure with Terraform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Design, automate, and optimize GitLab CI/CD pipelines and integrate SAST and DAST security mechanisms.
- Lead monitoring and observability initiatives with tools such as Datadog, proactively identify system risks, and drive incident response and problem resolution.
- Define and implement cloud-security best practices covering IAM, RBAC, vulnerability management, and infrastructure hardening across environments.
- Drive patch management, threat detection with GuardDuty and Falco, and prevention of credential leaks across systems and repositories.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on architecture decisions and lead security audits and compliance initiatives.
Requirements
- More than 5 years of experience in DevOps/SRE and more than 3 years in security-focused roles.
- Proven experience securing cloud-native systems at scale.
- Deep practical experience with AWS and Kubernetes in production, including IAM and RBAC models.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Terraform and CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI.
- Ability to develop confidently in at least one of Go, Python, or JavaScript.
- Solid experience with data-storage systems such as PostgreSQL and understanding of data pipelines and ETL processes such as AWS Glue.
- Extensive expertise in cloud security, monitoring, and observability, including tools such as Datadog, GuardDuty, and Falco or comparable solutions.
- Proactive problem-solving approach, strong communication skills, comfort working in agile environments, and fluent English.
