Responsibilities
- Provide Salesforce architecture and design guidance that meets functional, performance, and security requirements.
- Define, maintain, and communicate Salesforce platform target-state and interim-state architecture and roadmaps.
- Design complex Salesforce ecosystem solutions and integrations with company and vendor systems.
- Govern architectural trends, standards, and best practices through peer solution formulation, design reviews, and COE Architecture Review Board participation.
- Evaluate Salesforce capabilities and third-party offerings through prototypes and proofs of concept.
- Mentor technical delivery staff and provide technical leadership to service delivery leaders, technical teams, and peer architects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- At least seven years of progressively responsible technical and business experience developing enterprise-level applications.
- At least five years of Salesforce.com full-stack development experience.
- At least four years architecting enterprise Salesforce implementations across Sales, Service, Financial Services, and Marketing Clouds.
- Strong Salesforce data model and data modeling experience.
- Knowledge of Salesforce platform security patterns and full-stack implementation.
- Familiarity with enterprise communication patterns, including events, services, and bulk data movement.
- Ability to define current-state and target-state architecture and the roadmap between them.
- Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred Salesforce certifications include Administrator, Platform Developer, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Data Architect, Application Architect, Integration Architect, System Architect, or Technical Architect.
- Financial Services Cloud, Data Cloud, Salesforce DevOps toolsets, managed package evaluation and upgrades, ETL tools, and systems integration experience are preferred.
