Responsibilities
- Own and ship complex trading UI features including order books, position panels, trade history, funding rates, and liquidation displays.
- Work with backend engineers to design APIs, reason about real-time data flows, and build reliable experiences on exchange systems.
- Design and implement responsive, accurate interfaces for live market data, streaming order books, and fast-moving prices.
- Partner with QA, technical program management, product, and design to clarify requirements, manage launches, and improve quality.
- Monitor dashboards, alerts, and user reports; respond to issues and collaborate on incident resolution and root-cause fixes.
- Build and improve frontend logs, metrics, alerts, dashboards, and error reporting.
- Identify technical debt, propose pragmatic refactors, and contribute to frontend system design as the product scales.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of frontend web engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern frontend development.
- Experience building trading, exchange, or financial product user interfaces.
- Strong frontend system design skills spanning state management, data fetching, caching, performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Experience with real-time data such as WebSockets, streaming APIs, or live market feeds.
- Strong debugging skills and experience responding to production issues.
- Ability to collaborate with backend engineers on APIs, data contracts, failure modes, and system behavior.
- Direct experience with perpetuals exchanges or derivatives trading products is a plus.
- Frontend performance specialization, especially for real-time data rendering, is a plus.
- Experience in crypto, Web3, adjacent financial infrastructure, frontend observability, alerting, or reliability practices is a plus.
- Practical use of AI tools to improve engineering productivity is a plus.
