Responsibilities
- Participate throughout the software development lifecycle to identify and implement quality assurance practices using automation.
- Design, develop, maintain, and review automated unit, component, functional, API, and end-to-end test suites.
- Build and customize test automation frameworks, utilities, test environments, scripts, and data-generation processes.
- Integrate automated tests with continuous integration tools and develop testing reports and metrics.
- Conduct performance, load, security, service virtualization, white-box, regression, and application testing.
- Create test plans, conditions, cases, and execution priorities with internal and external stakeholders.
- Track defects and resolutions, participate in root cause analysis, and coordinate testing activities for assigned client projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, or another technical field, with additional experience accepted in lieu of the degree.
- Typically at least 2 years of relevant professional experience in software testing, coding, designing, and developing.
- Preferred master's degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, or another technical field.
- Preferred typically at least 4 years of experience developing automated testing strategies across varied environments and frameworks.
- Experience or knowledge with software development lifecycle and testing methodologies, programming languages, and testing tools.
- Ability to work on moderately complex problems, exercise judgment within defined procedures, and build internal and external working relationships.
