Responsibilities
- Review requirements and create positive and negative test scenarios to verify explicit and implicit product specifications.
- Develop and execute test procedures, test cases, and automated test scripts.
- Perform white box testing, analyze and debug project issues, and support test optimization.
- Participate in advanced test automation development and document and share technical knowledge.
- Follow software testing processes and procedures while supporting project milestones, estimation, and risk identification.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to complete projects successfully.
Requirements
- B.E., M.Sc., M.E., or M.Tech in Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunications, or Instrumentation.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in embedded software testing.
- Expertise in software testing fundamentals and understanding of 8-, 16-, and 32-bit microcontrollers.
- Experience with analog and digital electronic schematics, circuit boards, and component datasheets.
- Knowledge of residential HVAC systems and strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Strong understanding of UART, I2C, and SPI, with familiarity with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, and TCP/IP.
- Experience with Bugzilla, TestLink, and ReviewBoard.
- Basic understanding of programming and C and C++.
- Different sniffing tools experience is preferred.
- ISTQB Foundation certification is preferred, and LabVIEW knowledge or experience is an advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication, lateral thinking, and collaboration skills.
