Responsibilities
- Design and develop test automation frameworks for embedded firmware verification and validation.
- Develop test cases, perform feasibility analysis, and create and execute automation scripts.
- Test communication power supply products, modules, and systems using black-box and white-box approaches.
- Develop hardware test setups, troubleshoot hardware, and perform software and hardware testing.
- Formulate test stresses, test forms, and test specifications for new power supply product functions.
- Maintain and develop automated testing programs for communication power products.
- Support product reliability, specification, certification, and UL compliance testing in coordination with production and reliability engineering.
- Execute assigned work according to defined processes and communication plans and report project progress.
- Coordinate with production and product testing teams for new and existing product lines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in power electronics, electrical engineering, electronics, instrumentation, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in software test automation or power electronics product and module testing.
- At least 2 years of Python experience and experience completing at least one end-to-end automation project.
- At least 1 year of Java or Python experience.
- Strong embedded product test automation experience, including products with web interfaces and HMIs.
- Required HIL knowledge using Vector VT System and CANoe; CAPL knowledge is preferred.
- Experience testing RS-485, Modbus, CANopen, Ethernet, TCP/IP, I2C, and SPI interfaces or protocols.
- Experience building embedded hardware test setups, troubleshooting hardware, and reading schematics.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Bugzilla, and TestRail.
- Knowledge of C and object-oriented programming is preferred.
- Prior manual testing experience and power-domain experience are preferred.
- Strong debugging, logical, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
