Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior architecture leader and trusted advisor for a client engagement.
- Partner with executive, product, technology, and delivery stakeholders to define architecture direction.
- Assess digital product ecosystems, platforms, systems, integrations, and technical dependencies.
- Define scalable, performant, secure, maintainable future-state architecture.
- Translate business priorities into architecture recommendations and technology roadmaps.
- Guide digital products, cloud platforms, APIs, integrations, data architecture, and enterprise systems.
- Create architecture documentation, diagrams, recommendations, and decision records.
- Guide technical teams in implementing agreed architecture standards.
- Identify architectural risks, technical debt, integration challenges, and modernization opportunities.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Work on-site in Sydney CBD three to four days per week.
Requirements
- Strong experience as an Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect, Principal Architect, or similar senior architecture professional.
- Experience supporting digital products, enterprise platforms, or complex technology ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, cloud platforms, APIs, integrations, data flows, and enterprise systems.
- Ability to connect business goals with technical strategy and execution.
- Experience working directly with executives, product leaders, and technology leaders.
- Ability to create architecture roadmaps, technical recommendations, diagrams, and documentation.
- Ability to guide engineering and delivery teams without serving as the day-to-day engineering manager.
- Comfort working in client-facing consulting or professional services environments.
- Experience in real estate technology, proptech, property management, brokerage, leasing, or adjacent real estate domains is preferred.
- Experience with GCP or other major cloud platforms is preferred.
- Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, modern web platforms, or cloud-native application environments is preferred.
- Experience with modernization, platform consolidation, or digital transformation is preferred.
- Familiarity with security, compliance, data governance, and enterprise architecture frameworks is preferred.
- Prior consulting, professional services, or client advisory experience is preferred.
