Base Salary
$265k - $378k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical architecture of Spotify’s Agent Engine.
- Guide the transition of existing agent-powered features into a unified system.
- Design how internal systems can be exposed as agent capabilities.
- Build and improve evaluation systems for measuring quality and user impact.
- Partner with research and machine learning teams on system design.
- Explore and prototype new approaches to agent-based systems.
- Support best practices in building production-ready AI systems.
- Contribute to technical standards for security and reliability.
- Stay connected to advances in the AI and machine learning community.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling production AI systems, including those powered by large language models.
- Comfortable working across system design, infrastructure, and machine learning concepts.
- Experience with agent orchestration, LLM infrastructure, evaluation systems, or data pipelines.
- Background in platform or consolidation efforts that integrate multiple systems.
- Ability to navigate ambiguous problem spaces and structure open-ended challenges.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with engineering, product, and research teams.
- Informed on developments in AI and motivated to apply new ideas practically.
- Pragmatic approach to building, using prototypes and iteration.
- Ownership of outcomes with proactive risk and expectation management.
