Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and troubleshoot secure, scalable software solutions across multiple technical areas.
- Create high-quality production code, maintain algorithms, and ensure software satisfies architecture and design constraints.
- Use authorized AI-assisted development tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating their outputs.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets to produce visualizations and reporting that improve applications and systems.
- Identify data patterns and hidden problems to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on technical requirements, performance, scalability, quality, and security concerns.
- Guide peers on safe and effective AI use in engineering workflows.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied full-stack development experience.
- Extensive development expertise with .NET Core or Java, web services, and Angular or React.
- Experience with AWS cloud offerings.
- Knowledge of Jenkins, Docker, Spinnaker, or similar CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming and design principles, including writing clean, secure, and refactored code.
- Hands-on experience with Test Driven Development, SQL, MongoDB, Git, and relational or non-relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies.
