Responsibilities
- Collaborate with analysts, developers, testers, and users to refine requirements, design solutions, implement and test features, and support them in production.
- Prioritize User Stories and define backlogs while aligning product delivery with the underlying architecture.
- Write clean, maintainable code using test-driven development, refactoring, and modern engineering practices.
- Define and evolve component architecture and contribute to department-wide and bank-wide architectural decisions.
- Build reliable, supportable software and participate in third-line on-call production support.
- Improve automated build, test, and release processes through Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
- Promote learning and continuous improvement while mentoring and teaching other engineers.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of Java, the JVM, object orientation, and SOLID principles.
- Significant software development experience in an agile environment using modern engineering practices.
- Extensive knowledge of JavaScript frameworks and related web technologies, including React, Angular, HTML5, Bootstrap, and Node.js.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern build tools such as Maven and Jenkins.
- Knowledge of architecture and design approaches including Domain Driven Design, CQRS, Event Sourcing, and Microservices.
- Deep knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Extensive financial-services experience, especially with Client KYC Onboarding and Customer Master Data Management.
- Understanding of Business Canvas models and prioritization techniques including RICE, MoSCoW, Value vs Effort, Kano, Story Mapping, and Opportunity Scoring.
- Qualifications in computer science, business, or economics are beneficial, but equivalent practical experience from employment, open-source contributions, or personal projects is accepted.
- Proven ability to use AI tools productively and responsibly while applying critical judgment to data and AI outputs.
