Base Salary
$130k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform common cloud actions from shared tooling rather than individual developer machines.
- Improve license handling and the feature flag system.
- Separate the monolithic support tool into smaller, more manageable tools.
- Build tools that use AI and improve security and privacy.
- Contribute to open-source systems used by Verkada.
Requirements
- A BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a similar technical field is required.
- Experience with Python and/or Go is required.
- Experience with a major cloud platform, preferably AWS, is required.
- Experience and enthusiasm for learning about new infrastructure products, features, and strategies.
- Comfort working at the frontier of infrastructure and software development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Terraform is preferred.
- Experience with Kubernetes is preferred.
- Experience with a service mesh such as Istio is preferred.
