Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain C++/Qt applications for regulated healthcare and medical-device environments.
- Build GUI components and application logic using Qt Widgets and/or QML.
- Implement robust algorithms, data structures, and software components aligned with architectural guidelines.
- Develop and optimize multithreaded, performant, scalable, reliable, and maintainable applications across platforms.
- Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards, best practices, and secure coding guidelines.
- Collaborate with architects, product managers, verification, QA, and system teams.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers and provide technical guidance.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software issues across the development lifecycle.
- Contribute to design descriptions, implementation notes, development guidelines, and other technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of professional experience in C++ software development.
- Strong expertise with Qt, including Qt Widgets and QML, for cross-platform application development.
- Proficiency in modern C++ and standard libraries, including C++11, C++14, and C++17.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and clean architecture principles.
- Hands-on experience developing multithreaded, performance-critical applications.
- Experience with debugging, profiling, and performance optimization tools and techniques.
- Preferred experience in medical devices or regulated software environments, including IEC 62304 and ISO 14971.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, Git, databases, web services, cloud-based systems, or software security and cybersecurity fundamentals.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional, global teams, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
