Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and implementation of backend and platform capabilities for the Plaud Developer Platform.
- Support partner and third-party integrations while working closely with senior engineers.
- Apply best practices in OAuth authorization, access control, and multi-tenant architecture.
- Build and maintain standardized APIs, SDK interfaces, and developer onboarding workflows.
- Collaborate with product, device, and AI service teams on cross-system solutions.
- Use AI tools to improve documentation, testing, debugging, and code review workflows.
- Improve platform stability, performance, and developer experience.
Requirements
- At least one year of backend engineering experience with exposure to platform or API development.
- Basic understanding of OAuth 2.0, authentication, and authorization concepts; hands-on experience is a plus.
- Some experience with API design or developer-facing tooling.
- Eagerness to learn in a complex, multi-system environment.
- Proactive approach to adopting AI tools for productivity and engineering output.
- Good communication skills and comfort working across teams.
