Base Salary
$150k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Set up transfers of data feeds from source systems into locations accessible to Foundry.
- Debug delayed or missing data feeds and build problems.
- Write transformations and derive datasets using Spark for distributed computation.
- Design applications using the platform’s application development framework.
- Rapidly develop, test, troubleshoot, and iterate applications with subject-matter experts.
- Execute requests for information about the platform’s data footprint.
- Collaborate with product teams to debug and understand code backing the core platform.
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
- Proficiency with programming languages such as Python, PySpark, Pandas, SQL, R, or similar languages.
- Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures as applied to development and problem solving.
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams in a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to learn continuously, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
- Proven customer communication skills, including feedback gathering, execution updates, and troubleshooting.
