Base Salary
$62k - $141k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy scalable data pipelines and platforms.
- Develop and maintain scalable data stores for business analysis.
- Create software to retrieve, parse, and process structured and unstructured data.
- Build scalable ETL and ELT workflows for reporting and analytics.
- Develop scripts and programs that convert varied data types into usable formats.
- Support the scaling, monitoring, and operation of data platforms.
- Collaborate with analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers on cross-functional projects.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience using programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python.
- At least 2 years of experience developing and maintaining scalable data stores for big data and business analysis.
- Experience creating software for retrieving, parsing, and processing structured and unstructured data.
- Experience developing scalable ETL and ELT workflows for reporting and analytics.
- Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
- Secret clearance is required.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Preferred experience includes SQL or Scala application development and public cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Preferred experience includes Spark, Databricks, Hadoop, Hive, AWS EMR, Kafka, real-time and streaming applications, MongoDB, Cassandra, AWS Redshift, MySQL, Snowflake, UNIX, Linux, and Shell scripting.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is preferred.
