Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain high-quality software applications, services, components, APIs, utilities, and automation.
- Build and maintain software packaging and deployment solutions for aspenONE software across desktop, web, and cloud environments.
- Develop and support applications and services in AWS and Azure cloud environments.
- Create and maintain unit, integration, and automated tests to support software quality and regression prevention.
- Participate in requirements analysis, technical design, implementation, code review, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, maintenance, and architecture discussions.
- Use AI-assisted development tools for coding, debugging, testing, refactoring, code review, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating generated outputs for correctness, security, performance, quality, and maintainability.
- Integrate development and delivery processes with Git, Perforce, automated CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL database technologies and troubleshoot complex software issues through root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with development, architecture, QA, DevOps, product, and cross-functional teams, and provide technical guidance to less-experienced developers.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of professional software development experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining production software.
- Strong proficiency in C# and/or C++, object-oriented programming, software engineering principles, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Experience developing desktop and/or web applications, services, and APIs across the software development lifecycle.
- Experience deploying software in cloud environments, preferably AWS or Azure.
- Experience with unit, integration, automated testing, debugging, defect resolution, CI/CD, build automation, and modern software delivery practices.
- Experience with Git or Perforce and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of SQL and/or NoSQL database technologies and experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Experience effectively leveraging and critically evaluating AI-assisted software development tools.
- Ability to independently design, implement, test, debug, maintain, and troubleshoot complex software components and features.
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment, with strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
