Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems.
- Write clean, efficient code and optimize system performance.
- Mentor engineers across experience levels and promote engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders on system integration.
- Work with Platform Engineering to establish company-wide software development practices.
- Contribute to the company-wide technical roadmap and long-term technical strategy.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems using data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with backend technologies and adaptability to new tools and ecosystems.
- Strong professional experience across multiple programming languages, programming paradigms, and distributed system design.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message brokers.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and containerization.
- Ability to independently handle complex tasks involving performance, security, observability, and code quality.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and backend system design.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
