Base Salary
$190k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build intuitive tools that transform legal workflows.
- Develop product-facing workflows, user interfaces, and AI-powered enterprise application features.
- Build scalable, reusable, and fault-tolerant backend services for document processing, AI orchestration, and integration pipelines.
- Create production application-layer Python, React, TypeScript, database, and API solutions.
- Partner with design, client engagement, engineering teams, legal users, and customers to bring product ideas to life and iterate on the product.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or an equivalent field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years of experience writing application-layer Python for production use.
- At least 2 years of experience writing React and TypeScript, or similar technologies, for production use.
- Experience working with Postgres or a similar database.
- Experience writing production APIs with FastAPI or a similar framework.
- Interest or experience working with complex AI-driven products, including streamed outputs or dynamic agentic site navigation.
- Interest or experience working with PDFs, Excel, or file-driven products.
- Preferred qualifications include database scaling experience, configurable or schema-driven UI experience, AWS infrastructure experience, early-stage startup experience, and enthusiasm for product iteration with customers.
Benefits
- Senior Engineer base salary is $190,000 to $250,000 per year, and Staff Engineer base salary is $240,000 to $280,000 per year.
