Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and participate in design and code reviews.
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and modernize scalable pricing and market data applications using C# and .NET.
- Build REST APIs and gRPC services for distributed systems.
- Implement engineering standards, design patterns, and development guidelines.
- Assess software change impacts and operational processes.
- Support CI/CD, automated builds, and deployment practices.
- Assist business continuity and platform operations teams.
- Identify technical risks and contribute to modernization initiatives.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
- Drive end-to-end feature delivery independently.
Requirements
- 4-9 years of software development experience, including 5+ years of advanced enterprise C# and .NET backend development.
- Strong experience with multithreading and asynchronous programming using Task, Thread, async/await, Thread Pool, and synchronization primitives.
- Deep understanding of .NET memory management, Garbage Collector internals, the IDisposable pattern, and resource cleanup.
- Experience developing REST APIs and gRPC services in distributed systems.
- Experience with Kafka, ActiveMQ, Redpanda, or equivalent messaging platforms.
- Production experience deploying with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience implementing and automating CI/CD pipelines.
- Linux command-line administration, troubleshooting, and deployment support experience.
- BE, BTech, ME, or MTech in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred experience with TeamCity, Ansible, capital markets or pricing domains, React or Angular with TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, microservices modernization, cloud-native architectures, performance tuning, and observability tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, collaboration, and software quality skills.
