Responsibilities

  • Design, build, deploy, monitor, and iterate AI-powered tools, services, and applications end to end.
  • Develop generative AI solutions using prompt and context engineering, coding, retrieval-augmented generation, fine-tuning, and evaluation techniques.
  • Implement and optimise agentic AI workflows and multi-step reasoning pipelines integrated with enterprise systems and data sources.
  • Build, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models and define their production monitoring approach.
  • Run experiments, break complex problems into testable components, and balance rapid delivery with security, robustness, and maintainability.
  • Translate customer and business problems into measurable AI solutions and communicate technical concepts to clients and non-technical audiences.
  • Create reusable assets, document best practices, and contribute to capability building and knowledge sharing across the AI and Data practice.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience delivering generative AI and LLM-based solutions into production using tools such as Claude, GPT, or Gemini.
  • Advanced Python and production software engineering skills, including object-oriented design, asynchronous processing, packaging, and automated testing.
  • Practical experience with prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, context management, embeddings, vector databases, and agentic frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or AutoGen.
  • Experience developing, training, evaluating, and deploying machine learning models and selecting traditional models when appropriate instead of LLMs.
  • Backend and cloud engineering experience, including API and microservices development with FastAPI or an equivalent and deployment on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Experience with version control, CI/CD pipelines, model versioning, and monitoring production AI and machine learning workloads.
  • Demonstrated end-to-end delivery experience from problem definition through deployment and improvement, including working with incomplete requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to senior client stakeholders.
  • Experience applying AI to customer growth, personalisation, marketing, commerce, sales, or service challenges.
  • Preferred experience with natural language processing, computer vision, multimodal AI models, Responsible AI, guardrails, safety practices, Snowflake, Databricks, consulting, or client-facing delivery.
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
