Base Salary

$185k - $320k/yr

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver large-scale, cross-functional frontend initiatives aligned with strategic company objectives.
Define and drive the frontend technical roadmap and architectural strategy.
Serve as the primary technical decision-maker for frontend architecture.
Identify systemic technical debt and lead initiatives to address scalability challenges.
Elevate the engineering organization through technical mentorship and best practices.
Partner with executive leadership and other teams to influence product strategy.
Establish metrics and processes to improve code quality and developer experience.
Build and maintain technical documentation and knowledge-sharing systems.
Represent frontend engineering in strategic planning and technical decisions.
Develop emerging technical leaders within the team.

12-14 years of software development experience, or 8+ years with a Master's degree, or 5+ years with a PhD.
Expert-level mastery of HTML/CSS and modern TypeScript/JavaScript.
Deep expertise in modern React and the broader frontend ecosystem.
Proven track record of establishing comprehensive testing strategies.
Extensive experience designing and evolving component libraries and frontend infrastructure.
Expert-level understanding of distributed systems integration patterns.
Demonstrated ability to work full-stack when necessary.
History of leading technical initiatives in Git-based workflows.
U.S. Citizen and eligible for DoD Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
