Base Salary

$102k - $202k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop large-scale distributed software services and solutions.
  • Build features that detect and block fraudulent activity involving accounts, applications, and other entities.
  • Design and maintain data tools for transforming, managing, and accessing data.
  • Build and leverage reputation models and integrate machine learning models into production fraud-detection systems.
  • Develop secure, reliable, diagnosable, monitored, modular, and reusable services.
  • Conduct system design, code reviews, design reviews, testing, debugging, and production troubleshooting.
  • Improve integration-test coverage and optimize automation, reliability, and monitoring for LiveSite.
  • Collaborate across Microsoft to deliver customer-facing features and respond to customer and partner needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and at least two years of technical engineering experience coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to pass Microsoft and applicable customer or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
  • Preferred: master's degree plus four or more years of engineering experience, or bachelor's degree plus four or more years of engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred: four or more years of data analysis, cloud services, large-scale distributed systems, high-scale mission-critical SaaS operations, or security data management, logging, or monitoring experience.
  • Preferred: experience with Azure, GCP, AWS, and data-processing frameworks such as Spark or Hadoop.
  • Preferred: ability to guide and mentor engineers and lead projects to completion.

Benefits

  • The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $102,100-$202,200 per year, with separate ranges for certain San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area locations.
  • Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
