Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance PowerShell automation scripts for deployment activities.
- Configure and manage Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments across Development, UAT, and Production.
- Create reusable scripts and templates to standardize deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures, authentication, authorization, access-permission, workspace-access, API-connectivity, and deployment issues.
- Implement logging, error handling, monitoring, environment-specific configurations, variables, and deployment parameters.
- Automate deployment of Microsoft Fabric artifacts, including Lakehouses, Warehouses, shortcuts, and related data-platform objects.
- Support Microsoft Fabric Data Engineering, data-ingestion troubleshooting, and deployment-related activities.
- Document scripts, deployment procedures, and troubleshooting steps while following coding, version-control, and deployment best practices.
Requirements
- At least 9 years of experience.
- Hands-on PowerShell scripting experience for automation and deployment.
- Strong experience configuring and managing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience automating deployments across Development, UAT, and Production environments.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, reusable deployment templates, and release-management practices.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouses, Warehouses, and related components.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric REST APIs, service principals, and managed identities.
- Understanding of Microsoft Fabric Data Engineering, data-ingestion processes, monitoring, logging, and error handling.
- Familiarity with version-control systems, source-code management, deployment governance, coding standards, and continuous-delivery practices.
- Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, prioritization, and stakeholder-collaboration skills.
