Responsibilities
- Develop, analyze, design, program, debug, and modify account updater services and other software products.
- Build and support Java backend web applications, Spring-based services, and microservices.
- Work with teammates and product owners to translate requirements into designs and deliver software end to end.
- Support development and DevOps efforts, including CI/CD, containerization, and deployment activities.
- Perform API-based automation testing and work with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Lead a team of three to four people when required.
- Apply design patterns and sound coding and SDLC practices.
Requirements
- Four to six years of experience with Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, microservices, web services, SQL, and NoSQL.
- Strong Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and web application development experience.
- Experience with microservices architecture, AWS, Hibernate, JUnit, and Spring Batch.
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and relational database systems.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift containerized implementations.
- Knowledge of Jenkins, Ansible, and CI/CD or DevOps tools.
- Experience with Apache Kafka or ActiveMQ stream processing.
- Knowledge of Tomcat, JBoss, design patterns, API automation testing, and software development practices.
- Comfort with AI tools and terminology.
- Ability to lead a small team and take end-to-end ownership of deliverables.
