Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Manage application state using Redux and Redux Toolkit.
- Write unit tests with Vitest and integration tests with Cypress.
- Build and maintain reusable UI components for Trade Management web applications.
- Contribute to application architecture, frontend frameworks, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Perform code reviews and improve software quality, maintainability, and testability.
- Plan and execute work independently, including implementing functionality without direct supervision.
- Collaborate with clients, front-office, operations, product development, and technology stakeholders to define requirements and deliver impactful features.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to new analysts.
Requirements
- At least 5–6 years of frontend development experience with React and TypeScript.
- In-depth knowledge of React, Redux, Redux Toolkit, Cypress, and Storybook.
- Extensive experience with Cypress and Vitest, with a focus on test-driven development.
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, including complex types, interfaces, and generics.
- Proficiency in responsive web design and CSS.
- Familiarity with Node.js, Java Spring Boot APIs, RESTful web services, XML, and JSON.
- Familiarity with relational database technologies such as Sybase, SQL Server, or Oracle, as well as NoSQL technologies.
- Understanding of clean coding principles and the ability to manage deadlines and changing requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate in an ambiguous, problem-solving environment.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of equity derivatives products and product lifecycles is preferred.
- Experience with AngularJS is preferred.
- Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, or other cloud platforms is preferred.
