Base Salary
$162k - $242k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build the core performance data lake using columnar storage.
- Define and govern schemas for performance telemetry.
- Own and extend the time-series database layer.
- Build self-service BI views and dashboards for data visualization.
- Profile and tune query engines for optimal performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in building distributed systems or data platforms.
- Strong coding skills in Python or Go, with familiarity in C++ being a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD processes.
- Expertise in data lake architectures and modern table formats.
- Practical experience with hot/cold storage tiers for analytical workloads.
- Strong schema design instincts and knowledge of time-series databases.
- Experience in building BI views and data-driven decision-making tools.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
