Base Salary
$160k - $177k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support enterprise platforms, services, integrations, APIs, and automation that enable software delivery.
- Lead technical execution of cloud adoption, migration, modernization, and engineering platform initiatives.
- Partner with product owners, architects, platform teams, and engineering leaders on technical roadmaps and delivery.
- Drive engineering practices across software development, observability, security, reliability, testing, and DevOps.
- Perform hands-on development, scripting, troubleshooting, production support, root-cause analysis, and resiliency improvements.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-assisted development capabilities, to improve engineering effectiveness.
- Mentor engineers and collaborate across U.S.- and India-based teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience building and supporting enterprise applications.
- 5+ years designing and implementing APIs, distributed systems, integrations, or microservice-based architectures.
- Proficiency in a modern programming language such as Java, Python, or C#, plus Bash or PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with enterprise integrations, service-oriented architectures, large-scale transformation or migration initiatives, automation, source control, and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of RESTful API design, integration patterns, authentication, authorization, and application security principles.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and Agile delivery experience.
- Preferred experience includes enterprise cloud migration, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Jira Cloud, Atlassian products, Linux/Unix administration, infrastructure operations, observability, monitoring, production support, AI-assisted development tools, regulated industries, mentoring, and cross-team technical influence.
